I am not like other photographers. I will never turn up, click and say "Next." I take my time with each and every child, I talk, ask questions and pull silly faces to encourage real giggles and that show off each of their personalities.
I take photos that kids enjoy doing and that parents will love and keep forever.
No lights, or awful, old school backdrops.
I want children to get outside and play,
NO MORE BORING, AWKWARD PHOTOS!

I am a mum and I care. As a parent I understand just how important it is to have these school photos. I hated the dissapointment of seeing my children grimacing at the camera infront of a odd backdrop looking like they had been dragged through a hedge backwards.
I won't force smiles: Plonk a child down and ask them to say cheese - it is a recipie for a blooming awful photo. I don't and won't ever do that. I chat to every child, I laugh, pull silly faces, make jokes, ask questions. This brings out the best in them and lets me capture beautiful photos, naturally.
I take my time. Children don't always perform, some need a little extra time and I am there to give it.
I am not a big corporate company. This is my business, that I have built from the ground up and I care! I am a one woman band, I don't send inexperience teenagers out to work for me. I work every school myself, I edit every photo myself and I pack every order myself. With 14+ years expereince, I am really good at what I do.
Lets have a chat about your school or nursery, how many children you have and when you would like to have your photos taken. We will get a date in the diary and come up with a plan of action.
My diary is open from May-July and September - October, but I get booked up fast!
Each school has their own online and encrypted hub making it easy to share information safely and securely. Here you can upload student data ahead of time and I can create the export for you to upload to your central system with all the students new photos.
All I need from you before hand is a few bits of info to help me organise the day, together we will work out a timetable so you can let your staff know the plan and the day will run smoothly. I have kept it as simple as possible.
I turn up, find a great spot outside and set myself up. Being outside this is all part of the magic! But don't worry we will have a wet weather back up if needed. Children come out to me class by class looking super smart, in alphabetical order, then the fun + laughter begins.
When I've finished, I leave a set of QR codes with you for you to pass on to parents, this is how they can log in and view their photos once ready.
A few weeks later parents will receive a super exciting email inviting them to their child's gallery. Here they can swoon over all the images (typically 5+) and choose which ones they would like to purchase. Parents can purchase digital downloads or prints, direct from the gallery which can be delivered straight to their door or via the school a few weeks later. I don't sell tat, no mouse mats, or keyrings, EVER!
School do not need to deal with order forms or cash in envelopes, I do it all!
My approach is all about taking the extra time needed to bring out the best in every child. Rushing can lead to stiff, unnatural photos—and sometimes tears. I’ll never do that. Instead, I create a fun and safe environment where children feel comfortable and confident both in front of the camera and with me.
As a mum, I know how to spark giggles, say the right things, and I’m always ready to pull a silly face or break into a song. I also understand when it’s time to pause, put the camera down, and simply have a chat, or just sit quietly for a moment—because that little break can make all the difference to a child.
LET'S WORK TOGETHER
Investing in school photography enhances all aspects of your marketing material and shows off your school to its full potential whilst also attracting prospective parents, pupils, and staff to your setting.
I’ll help you plan our photoshoot. We’ll work out how to make the most of our time together giving you the maximum amount of images possible with minimal disruption to your school day and classes.
Working in a discreet and professional manner I’ll work around your school day and timetables. I’m happy to cover all areas of your school curriculum including lessons, sports, social activities, and events (including evening if required)
LET'S WORK TOGETHER
Choosing a school is one of the biggest decisions a parent makes, along with a great prospectus full of engaging images, another fantastic addition to your website and social channels is to showcase your school through the magic of movement.
Working together, we'll produce a short film, giving parents instant insight into a day in the life of your school. Taking parents on a journey through the school grounds, seeing hands-on learning in class, laughter on the playground, right through to extracurricular activities, and everything in between.
LAUNCHING SUMMER 2024
Kirsty knows what it takes to get the good stuff. She is a bundle of positive energy from the moment she arrives to the moment she leaves. Her attitude is infectious and left everyone with a big smile on their faces.
"These are so much better than the usual run of the mill school photos. You've really managed to capture their personalities and brought life back into school photos.
Thank you for always bringing the fun, laughter and all the smiles.
The children love you and we love having you with us year on year.
I just wanted to take the opportunity in saying thank you for the amazing school photos of my son!!! I absolutely love your style.
We have never had so many compliments about nursery photos before. Spending that little bit of extra time makes such a difference.
Kirsty instinctively knows when to put the camera down and simply engage with a child. One instance involved a child who was incredibly scared to have their photo taken. Kirsty sat with them, played a game, and slowly introduced her camera in a way that felt safe.

Yes, I am fully insured and hold an enhanced DSB. I also work in a way that means the staff will always be on hand to help and offer guidance. Safeguarding is of the upmost importance to me. I have over 14 years of experience in the photography industry and a wealth of experience working in nursery and school settings with children of all ages as well as childen with SEND.
May, June, September or October are the best times to have photos done. Making the best of the warmer weather and outside space within your setting. Being outside is key in making the photos more relaxed and giving the photos a totally different look and feel. I get busy and fast - so it is normally best to confirm your booking around a 12 months in advance.
Because I do not click and run, I like to get the best from the children the process takes a little longer and is a lot calmer. For a school with 6 classes I would look to be on site for 1 -1.5 full days, which works out around 140 children a day. Typically morning sessions up to lunch tend to be best for younger year groups, as the children are ready to go, they are also looking smart, hair all tidy first thing before they immerse themselves in play and lunchtime yoghurts!
We live in the UK, it rains a lot so it is always sensible to have a back up plan. Where possible I would like to remain outside but if it is really coming down and just not possible then I would hope that we could rearrange for another day. If for any reason you need to reschedule then I kindly ask for a minimum of 48 hours notice.
I need to know a little bit of info before hand eg: How many students/classes you have. If you want to do individual, sibling, class or staff photos.
Individual + Sibling photos; Beyond initial info and setting a date, the only other thing you need to do is provide me with a spreadsheet of student names and class so I can generate QR codes, ahead of time. Thats it. I have kept it as simple as possible.
Class Photos I like to setup outside using benches and chairs. Class photos tend to be done in the Summer term - May-June time.
Prospectus + Website: This takes a little more planning but don't worry we will work together to create a fantastic snapshot of your setting.
Yes I can - I will rename files with an identifier that links with your system. This ensures the photos can be matched to the correct students
