Larma Tree Gardens Wedding | Sophie + Nathan

Featured

You have exceeded our dreams for our wedding photos. Kirsty – we can’t thank you enough for your beautiful energy on the day and for getting so many perfect snaps. your skill is unmatched.

I had this one in my diary for a long time. I counted down the days because I knew I was in for a treat. Larma Tree and the most loveliest couple ever.

Sophie + Nathan are easy to love. Warm, funny, kind. The sort of people you feel better around.
They’re part of a friendship group I’ve photographed for over 11 years. Watching those stories grow never gets old.

This wedding felt like them from start to finish.

Music everywhere
Games on the lawn
Space to hang out
No rush, no fuss

Weddings work best when they reflect who you are. This one did exactly that.

Music runs deep for these two. They’d spent time at the End of the Road Festival at Larma Tree years before. So when it came to choosing a venue, nothing else made sense.

It was my first time shooting at Larma Tree. It won’t be my last. The whole day felt relaxed. People chatting. Badminton in the sunshine. That slow, happy summer feeling.

Peacocks wandering about
The Singing Theatre
The sunken garden stealing the show
A proper wow venue and one I loved being at.

The dining room, with high ceilings, glass doors and views of the terrace and gardens, light, bright, and perfect for speeches. Together, Sophie + Nathan walked into Chumbawumba – I Get Knocked Down. An entrance that set the tone straight away. Joyful, bold, unapologetically them.
The speeches were heartfelt and full of nostalgia. Stories shared. Laughter. That quiet lump-in-the-throat feeling.

After the meal, everyone drifted back outside, drinks from the horsebox and the last of the summer sun on their faces. Fire pits lit and ready for s’mores as the light faded. One of those evenings you wish you could pause.

Some weddings sit with you long after you leave. This was one of them.

Sophie + Nathan. Thank you for trusting me with something that mattered.
For the warmth, the music, the laughter, and the space to just be.
Your day felt honest and full of heart.
I’ll carry it with me for a long time.

One final note. Marcelo’s Ice Cream. OMG – I still think about it. It was THAT good!
