THIS IS MY PROMISE TO YOU

I put my heart and soul into this because it’s so much more than just taking photos.

I care about you, your plans, your story, and your memories.

You don’t want a shouty photographer or awkward, posed shots.
You want honesty. You want real. You want fun. You want photos of you being you.

We’ll hug hello, and it’ll feel like we’ve known each other for years.
We’ll chat, laugh out loud and have a boogie together.
Most of the time, you’ll forget I’m even there.

I’ll step in when it helps.
I’ll step back when it matters.
Nothing forced. Nothing awkward,  exactly how it should be.

THE LOVE

& EVERYTHING
IN BETWEEN

Why?

Photos are like actual, physical magic, a portal back to the past, and I believe with all my heart that honest, heartfelt photographs of yourself with the people you love are some of the most worthwhile and irreplaceable things anyone can possess!

That the why - that's why all this is so blooming important.

How?

I capture feelings, not perfection.
It’s about laughter, love, and the beautiful chaos in between.

I blend into the background and let your day unfold naturally. I notice, I watch and capture exactly what's in-front of me.

My style is relaxed with a documentary approach. The result is a collection of images that tell your story exactly as it was- fun, honest, you both having the best of times with all your best people.

You

You’re the kind of couple who wants to enjoy your day, not micromanage it.
You care about the details but trust the process. No shouty photographer, no endless posing just honest photos of you being you.

This is you saying “We’re in this together.” Your face will ache so much from smiling, because you’ve just married your bestest, best friend in the whole wide world.

Robots are NOT in charge of your

WEDDING PHOTOS

You will see a lot of talk about AI in photography right now. thESE ARE MY THOUGHTS + FEELINGS

Very simply. I keep things hands on.

I still cull every wedding myself.
I still go through every single image.
I still choose what stays and what goes.
I still make the final edit decisions.

Your gallery is not handed over to a machine to sort or style.

The only place I use some "help" is for the occasional tidy up.
Think exit signs, fire extinguishers, a random cone on a path. That sort of thing.

That’s about it.

The storytelling, the selection, and the feel of your photos all come from me, a real person sitting at my desk with a cuppa in hand, carefully working through your edit.

It matters to me that your memories are handled with care + proper attention, and I plan to keep it that way for as long as I’m doing this.

WHEN I'M NOT BEHIND

I married the boy I met when I was ten.
My best friend.
My favourite person to do life with.
We laugh a lot, and he knows a proper cup of tea fixes most things.

I’m a mum to two humans.
They’ve taught me more than any adult ever could.
How to enjoy life’s messy magic.
The laughter. The chaos.
The quiet moments.

The mountains reset me.
A snowboard strapped to my feet.
Sharp air. Open space. A quiet mind.

Closer to home, it’s the beach.
Slow walks. Bare feet.
Sandy toes + salty skin.
Tea in hand. Cake crumbs on fingers
Always hanging around long enough to watch the sunset.

THE CAMERA.

WORKING with KIRSTY WAS QUITE EASILY the  SINGLE GREATEST EXPERIENCE of OUR ENTIRE WEDDING.

I'm kirsty, a chilled-out,
fun-loving photographer
based in Hampshire.

I love working with people who want to do things differently.

If you care more about how it feels than what’s trending, you’re my people.

You laugh loudly, get the giggles and pull silly faces. You don’t take yourselves too seriously, you care about the little things, and you want to soak up every moment of your day with your favourite humans.
