WHAT A WEDDING! Geraldine and Joe’s big day was everything a wedding photographer could dream of and then some. If you’re the kind of couple who loves DIY details, creative vibes, and just a touch of chaos (in the best way possible), keep reading. This one’s for you.
From the moment I arrived, the energy was off the charts. Geraldine and Joe didn’t just plan a wedding they threw the ultimate epic party. Every detail screamed their personalities, from the hand-painted signage to the vintage DIY feels in the marquee. And let’s not forget the playlist, it was less “classic wedding tunes” and more “reggae with a side of Kate Bush”
And then came the party. Oh, the party. Between the body shots and the horsebox bar, the epic sing off and Joe sliding across the dance floor on his knees, it was pure and utter carnage from start to finish.
This wedding was a perfect example of why DIY alternative weddings are my jam. It wasn’t about sticking to tradition or ticking off a list of “must-haves.” Instead, Geraldine and Joe focused on what made them happy, and the result was a day filled with laughter, dogs, love, gang signs and a lot of drinking!
PERSONAL HIGHLIGHT:
I loved this day from start to finish
Geraldine + Joe
brought so much energy and that is what I fed off of, all day long.
I LOVED the dance floor vibes, reggae blasting out, everyone grabbing the mic for a a bit of karaoke and random body shots popping up here there and everywhere. This is how you do a relaxed outdoor wedding!
